Hi all. It's been a while.
Just wanted to share my full color dark fantasy comic "The Time of Reflection" is now one of only two finalists for an Eagle Award!
Which means it's at least temporarily available online and will be published in the London Comic-Con program next month.
And now we've entered the public voting phase of the competition. Voting only takes a few seconds.
Complete story (inline images as well as a PDF option) and voting info here:
http://alexwilson.com/the-time-of-reflection/
I'd appreciate any liking, linking, or licking of the above page.
Well, I might not actually appreciate the licking. But I get it.
Thanks all!
Alex.

| IndyPlanet |

Allo,
I don't suppose anyone has any experience in dealing with IndyPlanet? http://indyplanet.com
They look like a cheaper alternative for Print-On-Demand online publishing, utilizing the services of Ka-Blam. Anyone have any dealings with them that they could relate?

Allo again,
I've come across this fairly new website which has been created to help fans of WebComics more quickly discover and new comics that align with their interests, and to help WebComicers get new exposure for their comics.

So here it is for folks that want to investigate it.

| Future of NCWCCC |
[Jul. 24th, 2011|08:41 pm] |
First of all, I'm not dead. Second, I apologize for the silence. I won't bore you with the details, but I'm coming out of a serious funk (health, eyes, other crap) and sorry for just disappearing like that. If you are interested in continuing the NCWCCC let me know. If so, our next meeting will probably be in September. We'll select a city in the future.

| Group Project |
[Jul. 11th, 2011|11:42 am] |
Allo,
Seems like things in the NCWCCC have been quiet for a little while. I was thinking about some way to help reinvigorate, energize, or at the very least provide a distraction. There's a website that does print-on-demand games, including decks of cards.
I don't suppose contributing artwork based on our comics to create a deck of Playing Cards is anything folks might find fun?

[May. 29th, 2011|04:59 pm] |
Hi all,
The last email I got for a meeting (other than WTHC) was for January. The last meeting posted on ncwccc.com is December. I'm just wondering what (if anything) is going on with the group. If there's been some tragedy, I apologize, I'm just wondering if the group is planning to continue.
Thanks, Rob |
